Nicholas Ascioti is the Director of Music and Victoria Handy is the Organist/Pianist at the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church. The Music Ministry at BHUMC offers a variety of music groups. The Chancel Choir is a thirty member group singing SATB church repertoire by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Hovaness, etc. Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm. Joyful Voices is lead by jazz pianist and vocalist Peter Van Keuren.  This groups plays a variety of contemporary music with a band including piano, drums, guitar, and bass. The Youth Players offered to students in grades 6 through12. made up of vocalists and instrumentalists this group plays a music from many genres. This groups meets on Thursday evenings at 6:00pm. The Junior Choir is offered to children in grades 1 through 5. Children learn contemporary, traditional, and world music. All of these groups are accepting new members.
